In this video, we will be talking about two ways to wear your corset: over your clothing and under your clothing (also known as corset stealthing).

Hello everyone! And welcome back to our Glamorous Corset YouTube channel.
On today’s episode, we will be talking about two ways to wear your corset. The first way we will talk about is wearing a corset over your clothing. And in a bit, we’ll get to the second way, which is wearing the corset in stealth mode, known as corset stealthing, which means wearing your corset under your outfit. So, this way the corset is in discrete mode, undetectable, but still gives you that nice curve.
To demonstrate how a corset can be worn, I will be using our Lara corset in mesh. It’s available currently in beige mesh, black mesh, black cotton, and beige cotton. It’s a great choice for an average length torso, has a six inch rib spring, and an eight inch hip spring. So, this is by far one of my personal favorites. It gives great curves and hugs in all the right places.
Wearing Corset Over Clothes
My laces in the back are nice and loose. And now, I can comfortably warp the corset around and create some much needed curves. I always start from the bottom, all the way from the bottom, and work my way up. For me, personally, this is the easiest.
I line the corset so that it sits correctly on my body. Because then when the laces are all tightened and you want to adjust the corset, it is much more difficult. And as always, I begin my lacing up process, there you go.
I like to adjust the modesty panel before the laces are too tight in the back. It becomes much more difficult at that point. Pulling on the x’s will always do the trick. From top to the bottom. And we will call them bunny loops. And we do the same on the bottom. Continue moving upward.
I’m feeling nice and snug. And feel like I’m just about done here. One final tug, I will finish off with a bow in the back.
This is the final look of our Lara corset in mesh over my dress. Now, this corset can be worn over any type of clothing, over a dress, over a top, over a blouse, over a camisole, a tank top. Anything that your heart desires.
It hugs the body. Does not allow me to slouch, keeps my posture on point. It alleviates my back pain that I personally suffer with. And it creates that cinched in look, that I personally love, and I know many others do as well.
Another benefit that I enjoy is mesh. I love mesh corsets. They are breathable. When worn over clothing, they give a nice contrast. And make any outfit stand out.
Wearing Corset Under Clothes
Now, I will be sharing with you guys another way to wear a corset. But this time we’ll wearing it in discrete mode. Now, we will try on our same Lara corset in mesh. But this time, under our dress. As you can see, I decided to put on a thin camisole, like a long tank to wear under the dress. I like to have a middle layer between my corset and my skin today. I’d like to prevent any sweat or natural body oil from transferring onto my corset. So, this is the reason I’m wearing a middle layer.
The exact same process, adjust the corset, exactly what we did previously, just this time we will be wearing it under the outfit. I won’t bore you with the lace up details. So, quickly do my best to lace it up. I cannot promise that it will be nice and straight in the back.
I’m all set, all laced up, and I am ready to get my dress back on.
This is it guys, the final look with my corset under my dress. The corset has brought definition to my shape. It has brought in my waistline, pushed out on my hips, and it has given me upper coverage, where I’m not suffering from back fat or side fat or any sort of tummy bulge. So, this is the second way of wearing your corset.
In case you don’t like to wear your corset on the outside, or you’re unable to wear your corset on the outside, for instance because of work, but you do love corsets and love to wear them. This is an alternate way to wear your corset, undetectable, in discrete mode, in stealth mode.
However, you guys wear your corset is totally up to you, your choice, and your preference of course. But these are the two ways that corsets can be worn.

My name is Rachel, I am the owner of Glamorous Corset, a small business founded by me in 2010. Back In 2005, I was in a car accident that left me with a herniated disk. Much to my surprise I learned steel boned corsets were beneficial to several medical injuries including mine. I was always intrigued with corsetry, their history and their beautiful aesthetic. I love sharing knowledge about corsets, educating my wonderful readers and breaking the negative stigma related to corsetry. In combination with my years of research and personal experience I hope my articles are useful and can help anyone who has struggled with some of the same things I have. More about me…
