This is an amazingly comfortable corset. Follow the seasoning directions and you will be shocked at how comfortable wearing it is. The only suggestion I would make is to go down a size. It streatches a bit to fit your body (part of what makes it so comfortable) and as it does it citches tighter. It is now cinched as tight as it can go from top to bottom after just a week of wearing it. I will be ordering a smaller size soon 🙂

Good workhorse corset. I’m a bit short-waisted so, for me, the center panel flattens my pooch. If you have a long torso and a pooch, this corset might not give you coverage if that’s what you want. I love the range of motion I get with this corset since I have to move around a lot at work. The cotton fabric is very breathable.

I love this corset… sad that it is too short for my torso. Great corset for the price and very sturdy

Nice corset and is great length for my short torso, but it did not work at all for my body shape. My underbust and waist measurements are too similar and this has a great deal of rib spring so I never could get it to smooth out. Fabric is sturdy and it seems well made. Ordered another style with fingers crossed. Customer service was great. I encourage calling them with questions if you are a newbie like me. It’s worth it to wait a few more days for something that fits.

Finally! A corset for the short-waisted that isn’t just a waspie. I have been struggling for years to find a full length corset that fits my body. Almost every corset, even with a 9 inch princess seam, feels too long, because it digs into my breasts, which, I guess, are a little big for my frame. This corset is perfectly cut out to accommodate that, and the top seam fits like it was made for me. One complaint is that at this time this model comes with black laces on a tan corset and I don’t even have the option to buy tan laces on the website. It is unhelpful to only provide contrasting laces on an item that is likely intended as an undergarment by many users. To end on a well-deserved positive note, this is a very flattering corset on a shorter waist, and it allows for a good range of motion, which is great for everyday wear. I will consider buying from this brand again because it is also well-constructed.

This is my first lace-up corset, and I’ve only worn it once as part of the seasoning process, so this may not be the most informative review. That being said, I’m giving it 5 stars. It is very well made – no loose or skipped stitches so the steel bones are securely in place. Strong sturdy fabric will hold up very well to the lacing process. It was tricky figuring out how to get the laces tightened up by myself, but after a little confusion, I figured it out. It’ll take practice to do it as quickly and easily as the video shows, but that’s something I expected. I was extremely impressed with how quickly Rachel replied to my emails! Rachel read my measurements and my reasons for ordering a corset, and advised me that the corset I had thought of ordering would probably be uncomfortable to sit in because I am short (4″11″), and my torso is too short for that corset. She recommended an alternate. Frankly I was very pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it is – much more comfortable than the fancy all lace corset I wore on my wedding day!
I wore it about 5 hours on the first time, as part of my costume at a local museum. Normally my back is a little tired/sore at the end of 5 hours at the museum as a tour guide. But my Jolie short corset kept me more erect, so my back didn’t get tired at all. I only wish it was available in white or at least a lighter color that wouldn’t show through a white blouse. But my great-grandmother got around that by wearing a fancy white camisole over her corset, so I can do the same.
